Tabitha Hope arrived 7:30 saturday morning. 8 lbs 7 oz. Birth was in the water and everything we wanted but I had to be admitted to hospital afterwards for a repair and to monitor baby, as my waters had broken quite a while before labour started. We ended up having to stay overnight, which was really crap, but we're very happy to be home now. Just getting to know our baby girl.

yay! congratulations Rach!
Getting away with one night in hospital sounds brilliant actually - I had to stay in for 6 with Daisy!! She's a real cutie-pie - you must be over the moon. Hope everything continues to go so well xxx

Georgie - how is Noah settling in at home? Hope everything is going smoothly!

Jacjac - keeping everything crossed that the induction goes smoothly for you today and that you are holding you baby already!!

Hi to all the other new Mums - I think it's pretty much just me and Bloomy left undelivered now isn't it?

I had my sweep this morning, but as expected my cervix was completely closed shut :cry:

. So it looks like my vbac is very unlikely now as they said the chances of gong into natural labour between now and then are very slim. I've got my c-section booked for Friday so at least I don't have long to wait until I meet my boy so it could be worse.

Hi all, I have been so busy with our beautiful baby boy!
I have updated my birth on our list, please everyone paste & update with your details so we can keep track.

We have named our baby boy Callum it suits him perfectly

I can't quite believe our baby will be 4 weeks old tomorrow... time is going so fast! He is changing so much already, you really do have to make the most of every single second as they grow and change so fast!
Callum already weighs 11lb 4oz, he is thriving!
I am expressing my breast milk and bottle feeding (with formula top ups as required) as we had issues with latching once home and by then I had no support with the breast feeding and Callum was losing weight, it's hard work but I know I am doing what's best for him

Congratulations on the new arrivals, sorry no time for personals, I'm sure you all understand why!

We are settling in well especially now I am able to do more as I am recovering from the cesarean section and exhaustion from the many days of labour! Callum is amazing, he is our dreams come true and we just love him so much

Good luck to those waiting for their December babies!

congrats on all the births! It's so lovely to match all the names to the babies we've got to "know" over the past few months. Stella is 6 weeks and so beautiful. She has blue eyes like her dad and tons of dark hair - a real little doll. I'm still expressing and bottle feeding because her suck is still not very strong, but she's put on 1kg since birth so it's going well. Just updating the list:

Alfie and I are doing well, I had a c section but feel so much better now my SPD etc is all easing now. Alfie lost 14ozs and has been struggling to put it back on we are up to 8lbs 4 at the moment so can't be discharged from the midwife until he is back up to weight and my scar heals a little better. Hope everyone is well xx

I've updated my entry on the list above, so nice to have all the babies on there.

Any news from mums waiting to deliver, Sooze, JacJac, Bloomy??

Noah and I seem to be settling in ok. Breastfeeding going well (although I don't seem to have time for much else) he's almost back to his birth weight, we have to see the midwife on sat when he's 2 weeks for a last check of his weight and my uterus (had a bleed at 9 days post partum but none since) then discharge to health visitors. HV came yesterday and Noah passed his hearing test which is a big relief for me as no1 son is hearing impaired.

I'll put a picture on when I have a chance.

I'm still lurking! Congratulations to all the new mums and I hope you're all surviving the interrupted nights.

I was due yesterday but true to form there's no sign of the bump arriving yet (I went 2 weeks over with DS). So it's lots of walking and keeping active to try and get this baby to move. I'm feeling nauseous which apparently can be an early sign of labour but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Huge congratulations to all the new mums! There have been so many new arrivals on our thread since I last looked! Exciting times! Hope you are all continuing to do well xxx

I am feeling under the weather so keeping my legs crossed til I can breathe again, but because of my giant baby they have booked me in for a sweep next Wed at 39+2 and an induction at 40+2, although baby had better be here by then as its the last thing I want and I will be very tempted to cancel it. They wanted to induce me on Monday at 39 weeks but I said no.

Been an odd few days of total knackeredness but insomnia at the same time, and so full of cold. I had grand plans for my last few days before baby arrived but so far I've struggled to do much more than lay on the sofa moaning.

Just a quickie now the site is back up: Max James Robinson was born on Friday 9th weighing 8lb 10 1/2 oz. Had a planned section which went incredably well, and we got home on Sunday! Max is settling in well..will post pics etc soon I promise!! X

team ginger has turned out to be a team brunette!

our daughter arrived by emergency csection under GA

She's the image of her dad and has his hair not mine after all!

C was 8lb 6oz but is a very poor feeder with a touch of jaundice -we have spent 8 nights in hosp and now have her on boob, bottle and top ups as she has lost over 12% of her weight. we are home and attempting to fatten her up for xmas under the eagle eye of our lovely midwife.

congrats to all the other new mums, we are popping them out fast and furious now!

managed to nab 5 minutes so just updating to say our gorgeous not so little man is here.

Eddie was born on 6th december at 20.29 weighing a huge 9 pound 10 ounces by emergency c section. the labour didnt go at all to plan and i started very irregular and very uncomfortable contractions the friday before! once in labour i got to 9cm but my chubster of a baby didnt turn and i ended up having the c section. totally not what i wanted but it had to be done. had 3 horrible days in hospital and was glad to get home.
getting to grips with being a parent is challenging but also amazing!!
