compartment syndrome condition

Caught the phrase of "compartment syndrome" in this thread... Compartment syndrome involves increased pressure (often caused by inflammation). It can lead to nerve death, or even muscle death, if not treated. [Just my viewpoint on this topic..possible to be errant]

Hi Comps,
I had surgery for compartment syndrome last year - it has slightly improved the condition, but my legs are still pretty painful, especially when I start walking.
Are your legs also swollen? I've been diagnosed with lymphoedema (although only by a process of elimination, as apparently they can't work out what else it could be). Personally, I'm not convinced and I think the swelling and the pain are related, although the consultant didn't agree, I did get the idea that he wasn't listening / couldn't give a toss, though!!!
