I'm not in Kent any more, but am up and down a lot as my family are still in Kent, around the Bluewater area.

Well that's 4 of us at least and a couple others who've been in touch who might pop in!!

My initial plan is for sometime in May, (which will probably be a weekend for the working ladies!) is there any particular good or bad time for anyone? I am also edging towards Bluewater, but am aware that it gets busy at the weekend and people having to travel.....

We'll see then what happens and it might just be that we move somewhere quieter or we find a place we can either have food, coffee or alcohol in!! I'm open to suggestions!!

I can't do the 2nd bank holiday weekend- 23/24/25th - we have Ayan's naming day :D
Bluewater is ok for me.

What about a picnic if the weather is nice? There's Shorne Country Park, Cobham-not far from Bluewater, or Mote Park in Maidstone?

Oooohh I do like that idea - Eleanor is much better the more free she is!

I am going to investigate a park over the weekend that I have heard good things about, but how is the weekend of the 16/17th May for everyone?

Once I get a general consensus for which day we'll go with that!

Newbie

Postby Hayley1987 » Fri May 01, 2009 9:33 am

Hi all,

I am a newbie to this! I'm 22yrs old and was diagnosed with PCOS when i was 18yrs old but only started treatment June 2008.
I was prescribed 50mg Clomid and have been taking it for almost a year now with no affect other than making my cycle regular, recently my doc has increased me to 100mg Clomid still with no affect. I have now been put on the waiting lis to have a Laparoscopy and will go from there.

I am in West Kent and it would be nice to talk with people going through something similar to me.

Welcome Hayley!

We're a very friendly bunch and willing to answer any questions you have (even if you think they're embarrassing!)

Keep an eye on this thread for Kent updates and read through the boards for the various symptoms of PCOS, there's loads of information on here and Verity have supported us throughout everything we've been through...

Hope to see you soon,

Thank you!
It's just nice to know i'm not the only person going through this.

Does anyone have any info on Laparoscopy? I'm on the waiting list and have no idea what to expect.

Many thanks,

Hayley x :D

Hi all,

How would Sunday 17th May at 11am suit everyone? I think if we meet in the main food court at Bluewater before it gets busy we can commandeer a few tables together before it gets busy, have a chat, lunch if you like then a bit of a walk round if people feel like it?
