Hmmmm... Henlow Camp.
Isn't that just off the A507?
If yes, directions would be as follows:
Take A507 towards Clophill/Ampthill.
You should (eventaully) come to the roundabout intersection with the A6 at Clophill.
Take the A6 towards Luton & follow until you get to the outskirts of Luton.
Once you're there, there'll be 2 roundabouts. Go straight over these following the A6. About 250m after the 2nd roundabout, you'll see a Texaco garage on your left.
The Warden Beefeater is pretty much directly opposite, on your right :)

Hi everyone!

I am really sorry, but I can't make it on Monday now. My parents are staying over, and sadly I don't get to see them much.

I haven't booked a table yet, as wasn't sure on numbers. Feel free to continue without me if you like, or we can reschedule if you would prefer.

Really sorry to mess you around. My plans have only just been changed for me!

Just to post and say tonight is cancelled....Liz and i were chatting last night and as there was no table booked and we weren't sure how many people were turning up and there were no replies to Gem's post then it would be best to rearrange it. Not enough notice to round everyone up and book somewhere....

So.....when shall we rearrange for?

Interested in attending a meeting

Postby Lolo » Mon Apr 06, 2009 11:57 am

Hi Everyone

I live in Shefford and would love to come along to a meeting.

I've been a member of this forum for absolutely ages but never been brave enough to really post anything. I've got to the stage where I cannot battle on by myself anymore otherwise I will completely lose my mind. The syndrome has taken me to near breaking point and maybe it's because I have suffered in silence. In the words of Mr Obama 'a time for change has come': I have to do something different; I just can't carry on like this. So while I know there is no cure, maybe meeting women with the syndrome and talking about things as opposed to bottling things up will help me a bit.

Looking forward to meeting you all. :)

Thanks.

Good to see a few new faces on this thread too :)

Gem, any thoughts for the next meet-up and when it might be?
I know you must be pretty busy with wedding plans, so if you need a hand organising the next meeting, let me know.

OK girls I think we need to organise a date.....and I'd like to suggest the new Flying Horse in Clophill as the venue....it's been done out http://www.theflyinghorse.co.uk/index.htm and looks lovely!

So when in May is everyone free?

Hello ladies :D

Well, I've had a chat with Gem and as she is just a little snowed under with just 4 months to go till her big day ( :D ) we're gonna have a go at organising this next meeting ourselves!

I'd love to give the new revamped flying horse (in Clophill) a bash too... it looks fab :D

I should be ok for most dates in May, apart from the last week when, if all goes to plan, we'll be on hols.
If not, I'll be free that week too & needing some cheering up!!

Flying Horse is a great suggestion.

Will see you all soon hopefully!!
