Hi everybody,

Thank you all for sharing messages here. I hope that everyone has also found there way to the group I have set up on facebook (it seemed like a good way to keep everyone up to date - if you're anything like me, you check facebook regularly!!)

I've had a look at when people are available and set the date for our first meeting as Monday 23rd January at 7.30pm. I've spoken to Arts Cafe and they are happy for us to come and use a table there for an hour or so. Arts Cafe is a nice little place on Call Lane. It's only about five minutes walk from the train station and they serve a range of teas, coffees, soft drinks etc. (http://www.artscafebar.com/location) I'll be there from 7.15 and will have a Verity sign with me. Looking forward to meeting you all then! If anyone does have any questions, please do let me know and post here if you can make it so I have a rough idea of numbers. Fiona x x

Our next group will take place on Saturday, 21st April at the Marks and Spencer Café at Birstall Retail Park (http://​www.birstallshoppingpark.co.uk/​shops/mands.html). We’re meeting at 12.30 for a coffee, or a light bite to eat for those who fancy it.

Birstall Shopping Park is adjacent to Junction 27 of the M62 Motorway in Batley (near IKEA, Leeds) and has over 4,000 free parking spaces. Bus services run between Leeds Bus Station and Birstall (including the 219 and 229, see http://www.wymetro.com/​BusTravel/bustimetables/200 for more details). Several Verity members are driving and can offer a limited number of lifts from Leeds, York or Bradford.
