Thank you ladies for coming along, and for making the munch a wonderful one!

It really was my pleasure to arrange it, and really glad that we got the room - it made all the difference to being able to relax and chat.

Lovely to meet friends, new and old. xxx

Hi all - thanks for lunch - it was great to meet fellow PCOSers after all these years. All your fertility advice was invaluable and am feeling much more relaxed about the whole thing (for now anyway).

Hope you are all fine - after your monday!

Hi Linzi - sorry I didn't notice your post - I would have replied earlier! I live jsut outsite Aberdeen but have found these boards really useful. I have been diagnosed for 11 years, but only came on these boards when TTC my first child. I have my first appointment at the fertility clinic on 26th October so am hoping we can start treatment soon.

How are you getting on with your Clomid? I have my fingers crossed for you! It's good to speak to someone round about the same stage as myself.

Welcome to the Aberdeen boards!

Hi, I'm Canadian but have been living in Inverness for the past 5 years. DH and I have been married for 3 years and TTC since Dec 08. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 8 months ago and have been struggling. Looking for some support.

OMG how rude am I post a thread and then never come back and reply

Thank you girls for all the welcomes. :D Hopefully looking forward to chatting with you all properly soon.

As to how I am getting on things seem to be going well. I am on my 2nd cycle of Clomid. The 1st attempt although I am not sure if I actually ov'ed reduced my cycle to 50 days which is great. This cycle is going well I had 5 confirmed follicles about 14mm on cd12 so was expecting them to hopefully ovulate this weekend  My scan was Monday and they grom approx 2mm a day and ovulate about 20-22mm so fingers crossed that worked. The only problem I am having with the Clomid is it drys everything out so drinking water and using preseed/zestica to compensate for the lack of ewcm. Have been giving it a good go but I still don't feel overly hopeful of successful bfp cycle this month but we shall wait and see I guess :D

Canadian Girl where abouts in Inverness are you? I also would be happy to chat anytime. :D

I'm another Aberdeen based so and so :). Moved here in 2007 to start nursing at RGU.

Just getting used to this site but wanted to pop in because it's not often there's a whole thread dedicated to Aberdeen/Aberdeen folk!
