http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-39070183I have been doing the 5:2 diet for about 4 years (not rigidly) now and tested for IR during this time and didnt have it so wonder if the fasting had something to do with that.

This interesting, I don't have diabetes but I might look at trying the 5.2 diet as I have been slimming world on and off for ages and can't stick at and loose any weight.

Once you get your head around it it is easy, has totally changed how I feel about being hungry I have to say
