Postby Lutzomyia » Mon Dec 15, 2008 7:44 pm

Dear All,

Please take a few minutes to read the research summary below and please contact Gurminder if you are suitable for recruitment. Appropriate ethics approval has been granted for this research.

Thanks for your time

Tracy Nevatte - Verity Research Officer

"Many studies have looked into the effects and impact of wmoen who have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Research that has been done shows that PCOS can be a long term condition that can affect some/all aspects of a woman's life. In particular, research findings show that women of a South Asian origin are also more likely to have this condition of PCOS. I am therefore interested in doing research on the beliefs that South Asian women have about their condition of PCOS. Those that are interested will be invited for a face to face/telephone interview where you can share your experience of having PCOS and how this condition has affected areas of your life. All information that you share will be kept confidential and will not be identifiable."
