update on my first date

Postby jen234 » Sat Sep 17, 2011 4:08 pm

well ladies the first meeting with the lad didn't really work out as i didn't meet him. i had to change the day of us meeting from last thursday to today i sent him a couple of messages to let him know and to see if it was alright. which he said he would still like to meet me but for me i just wasn't ready i haven't talked to him since and i do feel guilty but i am new to all of this oline dating and also dating in general. i think it's my confidence that is getting in the way and i don't know what to do to build it up. any ideas are welcome thank you for reading.

Hello!

I met my boyfriend online, on a dating site and weve been together for over 2 years now.

I think the main thing on those is to be totally honest and then you have nothing to worry about. Ie if you chunky dont say your skinny or if you have no boobs dont say I have HUGE boobs..

I spoke to leigh for a while before we met up. I could tell he was a good'un because he never made any mention to sex before we met up,

The whole pcos thing came after tho. thankfully he was completely fine with it to the point where he kinda doesnt care as long as im 'healthy'.

Good luck and try and enjoy it!

thank you for your reply. i have had a couple of good men on there but i have also had a few jerks. one of which was turning stalker like which did freak me out but i manged to block him eventually. luckly he lived quite far away. i have also had a couple of perverts. one wanted to know if i had a webcamb and because i said no he removed me straight away which tells you he's only after one thing. the other one said he was in the army which i thought alright decent army guy he then sent a picture to my email and when i opened my it, it showed a pic of him holding his p***s which i found quite offensive so i deleted it straight away after showing my mum who was appuled i also went and deleted him straight from my account. so it just goes to show you can't trust everyone meet online but there are the few decent men as well who will talk and listen to you. can i just ask what dating website you were on. i am on oasis

yeah id had that too! Pathetic. surely they can just go on porn sites?

The site I went on was called plentyoffish or something like that..ah here we go

plentyoffish.com

I suppose its like the 'real world' dating, youll get the jerks, only on the internet they can be more cocky about it!!

I did find it a good way to do it tho, we knew a lot about each other before we had even met.

Id advise keeping on with it tho, dont let the idiots dishearten you!!

I wouldnt want them idiots to running it for me and i'm not. i have found two decent guys who i have started chatting with so i'll see how it goes but i don't know what to do if it goes well with one of them and i end up getting together with him. i feel so guilty when deleting someone but if there not right for me what else can i do i know we can be friends but it's going to be hard on them if they like me
