Baby aspirin, can anyone help?

Postby 4myy-x » Sat Mar 05, 2016 9:03 am

Hi ladies,
Have any of you been told to take baby aspirin or have been doing? And if so what where the reasons? Am a little confused and concerned, am currently 22+2wks and have my first consultant appointment at 27wks, am not sure wether I should be taking baby aspirin to reduce the chance of getting pre-eclampsia as having pcos we are classed as higher risk. Am not sure how this works just want to make sure am doing everything I can for baby. Thanks for any replies xx

Have you been advised to take it ? I was told not to (my cousin had mentioned it) and my consultant advised not to

I have been told to take it due to pre eclampsia risk. As well as pcos I have gestational diabetes so at a double risk. It's a very low dose. Can't believe you are 22 weeks now! Congrats! I'm 30 weeks now X
