How's things going SGC, any more signs that baby is on the move before Thursday?
Good that it's all looking favourable will make the induction a lot easier if you are already part way there.

How's everyone else doing?

Good to hear from you Lou, hope all is going well it does take a while to get back into some resemblence of normality doesn't it.
Wow 6 wks were does the time go!

Going ok mostly, Phoebe was 1oz over birth weight at her 10 day check so now discharged from the midwife, she's doing really well feeding even with a small tonuge tie so hopefully it will mean it doesn't need snipping.
Ended up with mastitis as the milk came in last week so if it happens again it may be that the tonuge is affecting the latch and causing me issues rather than her.
Sleeping is not great, she won't go down in her basket so we tend to only get good sleep if she is on me which is not a habit I want to get into, we have a pod thing (big pillow with a dip in the middle) so trying that in between us in the bed as it's safer and means she's not physically on one of us, worked Mon night but not so well last night.

Good luck SGC if you are in for the induction, looking forward to hearing from you once baby is here :)

We're quite lucky, he has a bit of colic but it seems to last between 6pm & 10pm and then he goes to sleep, think the screaming must knacker him out! He sleeps in his Moses basket too & sometimes just lays in it and gets himself to sleep, hope that's a sign of things to come! Had him weighed by the hv on Tuesday and he was 10lb 2, right little porker!

I tried breastfeeding in hospital but he wouldn't latch, we expressed the colostrum so at least he had that, got so stressed and upset when we couldn't feed that I ended up bottle feeding at 4 days.

Good luck today SGC!! Keep us posted!

I've decided to FF Lou - we've discussed it and I'm just not happy about breastfeeding. I wouldn't be comfy in public doing it, also. Just bought one of those Perfect Prep machines, so hopefully it'll make it easier at night times.

Cherry, Leo was born last Tuesday, sounds like she had a bit of a rough ride as induction took 5 days!

How's everyone doing? It's so quiet on here now we're all mummy's!

Oh no - sounds horrendous. If you speak to her send her my love and I hope she's ok.

I'm being monitored for high blood pressure and am now 4 days overdue. Gotta go back tomorrow. Induction is booked for Sunday if all else fails. Baby seems quite comfy where he/she is at the mo!

How's new mummyhood going?

Yes we have called him Ronnie. Hope you don't mind me posting on here. I've been reading on here for a while, have you all had your babies now?
Had quite a rough ride since the birth but my baby is 100% perfect n that's all that's matters. Got weigh in on Monday so will see if he's lost any. He's so tiny already.

Evening all.

I avoided induction after all! I was booked in for induction yesterday as I had high blood pressure, but woke up at 3am Wednesday morning with contractions. Was contracting every 5 mins so went straight to hospital. After we were triaged the contractions started slowing and to cut a long story short, ended up on the hormone drip. 29 hours after the first contraction, and with the help of some forceps and a horrible episiotomy, Bradley Charles was born at 08:49 weighing 6lb 11oz.

He's absolutely perfect, but it was rather traumatic to say the least.

Ah congratulation pink & cherry x

Sounds like we've all had traumatic births! We'll have to swap stories now everyone's bundles have arrived, can't believe it's gone so fast, only seems like yesterday we were having 12 week scans!
