Starting to waddle and feel like a whale beached on the sofa!

Going to see the doctor on Thursday as getting fed up with the groin and hip pain, can't wear my support belt or tubi-grip anymore as uncomfortable on my belly.
Also getting pain behind my knee, had a ruptured cyst a few yrs ago so wondering if it's returned :-(

How's everyone's appointments going, I don't get as many with it being my second so go from 28-34 wks.

I'm with the beached whales! Finish work on Friday thank goodness as the commute isn't pleasant anymore!

Have any of you had the horrible stabbing pain in the lady area that takes your breath away? Midwife said it was normal and everything is stretching, but if that makes my eyes water how am I going to cope with contractions?????

I found the pain from the contractions to be very different from the pregnancy ones, they build gradually instead of being sudden and unexpected which in some ways was easier as you had warning before they reached the top.
You also have in your head that these are for a purpose and there is a end result coming rather than it happening randomly over many weeks before knowing you still have a way to go.

Definetly worth seeing and using the labour pains as a boost to keep going through it once the time comes.

I get those Lou - but mine feel like a very sore pulled muscle. I also get a really sore bump if I'm on my feet too long.

Not long to go ladies and we'll all be up at 2am having different conversations!

Our pram arrived today so I'm stupidly excited for when hubby gets home so that we can unpack it.

So I'm just back from the midwife, am 3/5 engaged and she doesn't think I'll get anywhere near 40 weeks, omg!!!!
In fact her words as I left were "I've booked you an appt at 38 weeks but to be honest I think it'll be a home visit"

Words of wisdom ladies, I am freaking out now!
