Great to hear you are doing well Stillamummy!
Let us know how it goes on Friday, must be such a relief to get to this stage only 2 wks away from being classed as term!

I'm the same Cherry only 7 weeks and then hopefully 2 wks off with my daughter before little one arrives as the schools break up at the same time.
Can't believe how quickly it has gone, remember like it was yesterday people reporting back on their 12 wks scans!

I'm not on facebook with anyone here, I was on a PCOS (Cystsers in the UK) group for a bit but came off as it was pretty much all I saw on my page!

Hi ladies,

Still-a-mummy - hope all goes well on Friday hun! Having read your signature I cant even imagine what you've been through to get to this point so I have everything crossed that all goes swimmingly. You are so close now :)

Lou - tell me about it with work! I only had 1 week off and I feel knackered this week coming back! I came home last night nearly in tears I felt so tired :( Had a little nap before dinner and felt a bit better. Not long to go for you now though! I don't know how I will manage another 5 weeks after this one haha. I finish on 10th July for the summer hols anyway so technically I am on holiday so get to start my maternity leave 4-5 weeks early without having to actually BE on maternity leave if that makes sense? I have so much to do though so I cant leave earlier!

Lemming - I'm on a FB group called Venus Buddies but they are all IVF/FET ladies. Otherwise like Lou said we are friends as we go back to the Clomid thread! Happy to be-friend others though :)

Cherry - you're working a bit longer than me then if you have 7 weeks left. Not long to go now!

AFM - not much going on - I am peeing constantly it feels like! Our nursery is coming along nicely - it has been painted and my sister-in-law has started the characters on the walls and is coming back at the weekend to do some more. We have installed a blackout blind and put our curtains up :) Hubby has also built the moses basket stand so the moses basket is also in the nursery. Our furniture gets delivered in 2 weeks. And our NCT classes start next week. WE have pretty much ordered everything else too that we need :) All starting to feel real now! A friend of mine is organizing a baby shower for me in July - is anyone else having one? Mine is an afternoon tea with close family and friends :) xx

Claire, tell me about it, I've had 7 days off work and did a couple of days from home before that, so today was the first up at 6.30, train into London and then tube across for a conference, I've been so uncomfortable all day & sick of being told how big I looked and that I'm going to pop any day! Think the stress of it has caused loads of Braxton hicks this afternoon, one of my colleagues was so worried she made me go for a walk round the block to try and get bubs to change position.

Stillamummy, how have you managed to keep it quiet? Especially as I'm guessing you must be pretty big now? I can understand you're worried being through so much.

Lemming/Cherry how are you doing?

Lol Lou! I am massive but have just put friends off and said I am busy! Obviously close friends and family know but I have hundreds on my Facebook (went to 2 different senior schools, then moved up North and made friends, plus all the fab friends I have met over the yrs from this site and SANDS) so the majority still don't know! My niece tagged me in a pic the other week but thankfully only a few people clocked I was pregnant! X

I've also not made it known on Facebook, close friends/family and people I have physically seen obviously know but I have a few friends that are really struggling at the moment TTC so I have purposly not put anything up as I feel like it would be rubbing it in their face even though I know that don;t feel that way.

I'm ok, peeing seems to be the in thing at the moment or at least feeling like I need too all the time!
Getting a bit emotional about things that I normally wouldn't, like DD having a complete melt down this evening and OH being in a bit of a mood last night.

Really behind in getting the rooms sorted, DD will be moving into the bigger "spare" room, which is still full of stuff, isn't decorated or have anything other than bare floorboards at the moment and she's still in the cot bed in her current room.
OH is planning on building her a new bed as he had built the cot, but I just don't see us having the time now with what work he has on, really don't want to be doing it all once baby is here.

Hello, how's everyone doing in this lovely weather, nice to have a great weekend but I'm starting to see what's to come with having a summer baby!

Had a result for bargins this weekend, the small highstreet Mothercare near me is closing down and has reduced all the stock plus taken in a lot of sale stuff from other stores so thought I would get a few bits for both DD1 and the baby. Got even better when I was looking about as the assistant came round letting people know that it was also 50% off the sale price!
Ended up with nearly £200 of clothes for just under £50, including some Jules pieces for £6 that are usually £25. Got some more autum/winter things for DD1 in the next size up and also some 0-3 and 3-6 stuff for baby.

Today finished off the last of our bigger purchases getting the breast pump, had a Tommee Tippee one before and still had it but all the rubber bits were discoloured so thought I might as well replace the whole thing and got it in Babies r us for £65, most places it's around £100.
If you pick up a Babies R Us book they have some money off vouchers at the back and on top of their offers at the moment you can save a decent amount.

Hi Lemming,

Wow sounds like you got some bargains! How lucky that the Mothercare has a closing down sale (but obviously not great it is closing down!). We got loads of stuff from Amazon last week - angelcare baby monitor, bottles, sterilizer, ear thermometer and healthcare kit. Also our baby bath :) The only thing with the sterilizer is we bought the microwavable one and it doesn't fit our microwave! How stupid. I just presumed it would fit all microwaves but apparently it only fits ones over 20l (I think ours is 17l). So annoying. So we've sent it back and got an electric one. I've decided not to breastfeed so we also bought the Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machine (just a bit excited about using it haha) as a treat to ourselves but it was a great offer.

How is everyone else doing? We start our NCT classes tomorrow! xx
