Postby Lou1978 » Wed Dec 17, 2014 11:35 am

Ok, so i'm being brave and starting a thread for July & August babies, I know a couple of the clomid thread ladies have just got bfps too, so i'm hoping they join soon.

I'm 10+2 edd is 14 July, we got a shock natural bfp after 10 rounds of clomid & a failed ICSI cycle, I still don't quite believe i'm actually pregnant :P

Hoping some of you lovely ladies will join me, I feel a little bit in limbo at the moment!

Yooooooohooooooo!!

I can't believe it either. Haven't had hardly any symptoms so far. Just a few cramps and a little tired.

I think I should be 4 + 6 according to FF.

I've just rung my consultant and his junior said stop the metformin....but I'm sure he said keep taking it. And I've read studies where met has been shown to reduce the amount of early pregnancy loss. What do I do?!?

One of my best friends is a gynae registrar and she said don't you dare stop taking it! She said it'll do no harm but it does help reduce the incidence of miscarriage. I'm going with her! Haha.

Hello been hanging about waiting for this thread to start!
Congrats to all those with BFP's so far.

I'm just about to hit 8 wks after a surprise positive at the beginning of Dec, took 4 yrs and the help of clomid last time so was not expecting anything to happen on it's own.
Was playing rugby right up until I found out at nearly 6 wks as it had only just started to get to the point of being a longer cycle for what it's been recently, so glad I tested when I did and not leave it longer!

How's everyone feeling?

Nice to meet you lemming! :-)

I'm doing ok, if not a little worried as I feel too good. It's published everywhere that I should feel rubbish, but I don't.
Only sore nipples at the mo and not much else.

Anyone else?

Welcome Lemming.

I'm suffering, nausea, stinking headache and knackered, but I'm almost 11 weeks so a bit further than you guys!

Taking Gilbert to it's first rugby game today, trying to convince hubby to let me buy a baby grow!

It's odd to be saying this but don't worry cherrybomb82 I'm sure it will kick in at some point I don't think I felt any differnet until 6/7 wks, now it's almost constant luckily mild most of the time but as long as I eat little and often I can keep it at bay.

Where are you watching the rugby Lou1978?
We are Quins fans and I've already got my eye on a few bits from there!

I'm really going to miss playing over the next yr or so but I actually think the rugby helped me get to this point, I've not been playing long and the fitness side of things (losing 3 stone with all the training) had regulated my cycles :)

I plan to keep up the fitness side of things by doing gym work for as long as I can, not sure what's safe in terms of weights though.
But after a shoulder injury I need to keep the weights going and the physio is happy for me to do certain upper body exercises for now to keep it mobile and rebuild the strength.

Rugby's a great sport for the family to watch and get invovled in, our daughter went to Twickenham for the first time at 6 wks and has been a few times now.
She now plays in the mini's group of our local club.

I love rugby but unfortunately my husband is an avid Liverpool supporter.

Had my first major scare today - walking around sainsburys I felt something wet downstairs and panicked. I've been having dull aching like AF pains for a couple of days so I rushed home in tears but it was a false alarm. Am I to spend the next 7 months being a nervous wreck?!?

Ah Cherry, welcome to pant watch! The af pains are probably your womb stretching & the leakage is just leakage, you'll get used to it! I had to teach myself to only go to the loo when I need to & to worry if the leakage was hot, sorry tmi, but from experience of af turning up unannounced I'm sure I'd know the difference.

Hope that helps a bit?
