Hi ladies,

Time seems to be going quite slowly, but I'm excited about Christmas so will enjoy this week. Nausea and bloated tummy here too. Is anyone else paranoid about food, I'm checking things to see what cheese, meat is in there and worry about everything. I know it's a bit silly, I really need to stop googling things and enjoy it!
Jaffa - great news about your scan, I have my scan 10th January (I should be 12w2d).
Tinker - glad you got your mw appointment too.
Gem - hope all is well with you.

Laura - I also read your post on fertility board and I'm sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself. x

Laura I am so sorry. Of course you are more than welcome to keep popping back. Sending big hugs xxxx

I have my booking in this morning and then I should get my next scan appointment. Yes I am very bloated at the mo and seem to have a little pouch forming. No one else would notice but I have. I am checking labels too and then googling lots of things to see if it's safe so you are not alone katts. Still worried I just feel sick and haven't actually been sick but need to concentrate on relaxing.

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas xxxxx

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all had a great Christmas. Ours was fab. All my dhs family here on Christmas day (15). Then went to my brother's in London boxing day. My sil made
an an nouncement that they were expecting their 2nd and she is 12 weeks so not too far apart. I had to poas this morning to see if line went dark super quick. I can't believe I am still only 6 weeks time on that front seems to be dragging.
Happy. New Year to you all.

Hello ladies,

How's everyone? Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. It's still Christmas for us as we are seeing some of DH's family this weekend. We stayed with my parents which was great as I could just rest and my mum cooked us lots of lovely food. I have to keep eating otherwise nausea gets worse.
Gem - don't worry with both my pregnancies I have never been actually sick, first time hardly had nausea, this time nausea every day but never sick (yet!).
Tinker - glad your test was nice and dark.

I agree Tinker it does seem to take long time to get to 12 weeks. Just under 2 weeks until my scan. I'm still bloated and my tummy is sticking out, we have told family, but I'm not sure I can hide it from friends much longer as I look pregnant. Tinker - did you find that with your 2nd and 3rd you looked pregnant a lot earlier than with first? I'm sure with my first I didn't even think of buying maternity clothes until I was 4 months, but yesterday I gave in and got my maternity jeans out because my normal ones just feel uncomfortable. It seems a bit strange as I'm not even 11 weeks. Well it's probably all this Christmas food!

Hope you are all well. Happy New Year to you all when it arrives. (Can't promise that I won't be sleeping on the sofa before midnight!)

Kats xx

Just crashing!

I don't visit Verity much but saw you posting Gem and wanted to send you luck and sticky vibes. Really hope this is your time.

Also a passing wave to Tinker as we were on the due May 2012 board together before I had my mc.

Wish I was joining you both instead of crashing but seems TTC #2 isn't any easier than number 1 was.

Thanks Kate. Just trying to hang on in here. Hope you get a BFP soon.

I had some rectal bleeding on Friday. I had it last time I miscarried and so was very worried. Got checked out at a+e as my doctors were only open for pre-booked appointments and although blood pressure was a little low nothing else so I was sent away and went back this morning for another scan. Me and baby are still awkward to scan but there is still a heartbeat and the best measurement they could get was 9+3 but she did say this was on the low side as baby is all curled up and wriggling about so hoping its a good sign. It brings me nearer to my dates than the previous scan so a little happier but terrified. I know we would be in for a rollercoaster with this pregnancy but I have definitely under estimated it. Also lost most of my symptoms over christmas too but they are now back after a couple of days off. Just praying that they stay.

You guys are going to be sick of me soon.

Katts - I can't stand anything too fitted or tight so leggings and stretchy jeans it is for the moment. Far too scared to buy anything maternity yet.

Glad everyone had a nice christmas. Sadly I'm out girls. Bleeding since Friday, whisked to A&E yesterday in ambulance doubled up with pain and vomiting. Went for a scan today and have surgical removal tomorrow. Very very sad. Fed up with hospitals. Can't wait for it to be over.

Good luck and much love to you all xxx

Hi Jaffa1,
I am so sorry you are going through this - reasonably late on in the 12 week bit. My thoughts are with you and hope you look after yourself until you are ready to try again.
All the best,

Hello ladies,

Would I be able to join in please?! Been on the clomid thread for a while now so know some of you!

Got my BFP 22nd December, only 5w2d so very early on. Called the hospital today and booked in for my 7 week scan on 13th Jan. Called the GP and explained I was pregnant and what did I need to do (no one tells you what to do when you get a BFP)!!! Anyway, they said they don't see you till you're 8-10 weeks so booked in for 22nd Jan with them.

Still don't really believe it, and although I'm so so hopeful, also realistic, which this thread shows you need to be. So sorry for those who it hasn't ended well.

OH doesn't want to tell anyone till after the scan, and I admit I don't feel ready to yet. Though we had to tell my sister today as she wanted to book her wedding for 28th August, which I've worked out my EDD as 30th!

Anyhow, symptoms wise I'm doing ok but it's still early. Need to wee overnight, which I never do and did for about a week before I tested but I had a cold so never cottoned on. Just assumed I was restless. Sore boobs, and my nipples have grown, which is quite off putting!!!!! My OH face said it all, I assumed I was imagining it at first! A fair bit of mild cramping but it's easing off.

OH is very cute with me, he's made me google if I can eat hummus, if I can use a hot water bottle on cramps (though my book suggested it) and won't let me hoover as it's 'too heavy!' Oh and I couldn't push the shopping trolley today!

Anyway, hope everyone is ok and thinking of those who have lost recently xxxxxxxxxx

Hi All,
Jo - Congratulations and welcome I saw on ttc thread you had BFP and was going to invite you over but didn't want to appear pushy. I am only about a week in front of you and the reason I took my test was because I had to pee in the night for a few days before testing and that has happened on every pregnancy. It is nice to share this early part with people as we definitely aren't telling anyone until after our 12 week scan. I think it is the hardest part as we can see with Laura and Jaffa it can so easily be taken away.
Hey everyone else.

Welcome and congratulations again Joanne - glad you got your early scan soon. I'm nearly 11 weeks so have got used to the idea of being pregnant, but still worry so much and keeping it quiet. We told close family last week, but no one else. This first 12 weeks is all emotions put together happy, scared, worried and mixed with hormones. Night toilet breaks are keeping me up too and my nipples are scary! Wishing you all the best.
