To reassure you, I didn't have any symptoms untill about 9/10 weeks and that was just sore boobs. I didn't have any morning sickness throughout the whole pregnancy. Small tip though, eat little and often because your tummy is so squished you can't eat a lot!!!

i had extreme nausea as my sign, but i also had a terrible cold which aggreviated it. I am still on the anti-sickness tablets, i dont dare come off just yet, as i dont want the sickness back.

Just remember to eat little and often and have some decent sugar at times lol, i started passing out with the sickness, not a good idea.

My other symptom was that i grew very quickly, look at the bump pics you will see what i mean.

dont worry if they go away from day to day, thats normal.

Great idea Loachy, saw your 9 wk scan, how fab!! Glad you're not being so sick now.

Vicki, good luck for the scan tomorrow, am sure all will be fine. Know what you mean about 12 weeks seeming like a lifetime away. :?

Well me, no sickness yet, but I do feel sick from the moment I get up to the moment I go to bed which is currently about 8pm cos i'm so tired. It goes away when I eat, but not for very long so feel like i'm eating allllllll the time. Swear I could actually have a lunch time nap at work if there was anywhere to go  Oh well its all in a good cause so mustn't complain.

Are you both still in shock, I couldn't get my head around the fact that I was lucky enough to be having one baby, never mind two!! Am a bit scared about the practicalities of having two, but I'm sure we'll figure it all out as we go along.

Oooh how exciting.........

Hi,

Some good advice there. My sickness came back badly at 3am this morn....had to take one of my sickness tabs to get back to sleep! I know what you mean, Ive found eatly regularly makes me feel better too but I cant really manage much before 1030am at the moment. I seem to start to fel sick around 6pm.

Am starting to worry about another thing now...metformin. I was advised to come off it. Was taking one 850mg every night. I have had bloods and they have told me all my hormone levels are fine so I dont need it. Are any of you girl taking it? Should I start again maybe with one 500mg a day? Dont know what to do. Havent taken it for almost 2 weeks now ......help!!

For those of you feeling sick, have you tried ginger tablets, have heard they work a treat. If your consultant led you may be put on iron tablets, my consultant did this as a matter of course for all multiple pregnancies, I started them at about 14 weeks and stayed on them till D Day (35 weeks). They do make you really constipated and your poo black so make sure you have your lactulose ready too!

PS If you don't want me to post on your thread, let me know

Hi girls, hope you don't mind me posting on here, but i have just bought one of these for my own twins and thought it might be usefull to yourselves.

There is a seller on ebay (heanor) selling Rayshades (large suncover that protects babies from 98% UVA light). They sell it in navy or black and it fits onto all side by side double buggies with hoods and keep bubs out of the sun completely, and as it fits onto the hood it just extends the hood, making the pushchair less bulky than having two parasols. They retail at over £30 on internet sites and they have by it now at £16.99 so i would get in there quick.

Just wondering how you're all doing? Cooking all those bubs nicely I hope :D

I actually run a forum that has loads of advice on it from "experienced" twin mummies if anyone wants a look. I'm just trying to get interest in it again which is hard work!! www.twinsandthings.org.uk , there is a link on there to the forum.

Good luck ladies xxxx
