Thanks for your kind messages...the 12th needs to hurry along so I can move on with my life! Lol! Went to see GP today and have been referred for counselling as the situation has seriously provoked my anxiety! I do think I need a break- will talk to the specialist once I've had my scan! Thanks for all your support ladies and I'm sorry to have been moaning etc on here xxx

I have freaked myself out!! I'm waiting for the blood results for the downs/Edward's/patau syndrome screening. They said if there was an issue they would in up to 5 working days otherwise we would just get a letter through the post.
I hate this waiting around!! I think because it was such a battle to get pregnant I'm terrified something will take it away from us!

The scan was fine and the ultrasound tech said everything looked healthy, how do you manage the anxiety and wait?

I know there's nothing we can do to change anything but we want this baby so badly.

Hey Ray. Sorry love but we declined any of the extra tests so haven't been in this situation. I would like to say it will all vanish but it won't! You will worry throughout and when they arrive....it's even worse!!!!!!

I'm starting to wish we hadn't had the tests, but at least we will be informed....so scary this whole pregnancy thing lol!!
I'm literally a nervous wreck, the first 12 weeks were hard enough hehe!

Hi all, finally had my scan yesterday and everything has gone but now I have 3 cysts in my uterus! the biggest is 3mm. I have to wait to here the plan from my specialist Monday but it's likely to be surgery to remove them not been in a good way to be honest but Thankyou for checking in on me! I hope you're well? Xxx

Oh I'm so sorry! Could they have been what the ultrasound tech saw?
i hope Monday brings you some answers and you get back on the road to recovery and ttc.

Hi all, so sorry I've not been in touch and been rubbish! Had a really bad time- my consultant went on leave again and is back next week and we can finally go through the results! It's unbelieveable- also my uncle died suddenly in Scotland so I flew up there and back again all the space of 24 hours with no sleep for the funeral! Emotional rollercoaster is an understatement!! But on a positive note I started acupuncture - I've had 3 appointments already and my period arrived naturally this morning (day 42 which is good for me!) and I feel a lot calmer and sane which is great so I'm going to keep that up as well.

Hi all, I hope you're all well?
So...FINALLY spoke to consultant- they said scan showed andomiosis which is trapped blood in the womb lining and muscle and also two cysts at the top of my womb! She's not worried about the trapped blood as apparently that goes away in pregnancy but she is concerned about the cysts. I have to have another scan to see if they're still there! If they're not then We can carry on with clomid. If they're still there I have to have a camera up in my to see what's going on in an outpatient setting!! so fed up now! Xxx

Aww that's such a pain, when is your scan booked for? Good news that you could still carry on with clomid though.

How have you been feeling? Hopefully now things are in motion it's a little more settling.
Did you manage to speak to th docs about counselling?
What are you up to outside of ttc?

Hi - I'm not sure if anyone will remember me who is still around but I just wanted to leave an update - I know this site is very quiet now compared to what it once was, which is a real shame. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2012 and although we didn't start trying at that time, I wanted to be prepared for when we did - so I started reading the cycle buddies thread and continued to be a lurker for many years until it was my time. In that time, I read about amazing stories of determination, resilience and strength, and I hoped when my time came I would be as strong as the ladies here, whatever the future held for me. I used another forum when I started my first IVF cycle last year, which was unfortunately unsuccessful. But I got a little miracle frostie from that cycle that survived the odds, and I am now pregnant after a FET - 13 weeks today - I thought this would be the easy bit compared to the TTC journey, I was wrong! It is still scary, confusing, filled with anxiety, lacking in answers and seems like it will never end - or at least never end well - but like the TTC journey, I keep going and I keep hoping and that's all we can do. I hope everyone who has passed through here is doing well and am reluctant to name names as there have been so many - but Claire, I hope you are doing well and enjoying your completed family - you provided so much support for women on here and saw so many come and go - do you ever hear from Joy? I didn't cross paths with her on here but read the support she provided for so many others - hkitty - I hope you and your hubby are enjoying family life, it must be amazing after so long - MrsA - I hope things are going well for you on TTC No2 - joanne - I've read back a little and seen that you had a lovely little surprise - congrats! And as this is starting to sound like some sort of warped award acceptance speech, I shall end it there! I just wanted to update on my story so far, say thank you to everyone that helped me - both those that I interacted with on here and those that I just read about for those few years, and good luck to anyone currently on their journey, and those starting in the future who might be reading back to this xxx
