Clearblue Fertility Monitor only reading low

I started using my cbfm on cd 12, monitor showed cd 6, and after 20 test sticks the monitor hasnt moved and all ive had is low fertility :(
Im now on cd 32, my cycles this year have been, 34, 27, 32, 42, 41, 35, 42
Last cycle i started taking pregnacare conception and i definately had ewcm along with increased sex drive so i was pretty sure i ovulated.
This cycle so far just sticky clear cm, pain in bbs for past 6 days and cramps/stabbing/pinching pains for past 3 days, one evening i did get a sudden painful burning sensation in my left ovary, im wondering if a cyst burst? Ive never had any pain or problems with cysts but i have been getting some discomfort for a few months in my left ovary, and since taking the pregnacare it seems to have intensified.
Has anyone else had just low fertility using cbfm?
My hormone levels were normal when they were checked at time of diagnosis, i was diagnosed based on excess hair and ovary cysts, but that was almost 3 years ago, ive lost 8 stone since last year, my bmi is now 20, do you think my hormones could of changed now?
Im going out of my mind not knowing what is going on with my body, i guess im really beginning to realise the impact having pcos could have on me being able to conceive :(
My doctor wanted to send me for an internal ultrasound again because of the pains ive been having but she said the hospital dont like doctors referring patients for that now, so she has referred me to a gyno and my appt is on 22nd.

Typically its probably just one of the cycles where im not going to ovulate, my doc did say she thinks i do ovulate as im having periods, i didnt before my weight loss, but she did say probably not every cycle. So trust it to happen on the 1st cycle im using the cbfm just to freak me out..
Thoughts though please ladies? Especially regarding burning pain, possible cyst burst...

I did, I occasionally had the second level up but I never had the proper 'high fertility' levels and it did transpire after investigation that I wasn't actually ovulating.

It could be an indication that there is a problem. If you want to conceive I would say when you go to see your gynae press for investigations into your fertility as they should be able to arrange this.

It is depressing when you have PCOS and you start to come up against these kinds of probs but there is lots of help available and as you can see from my sig I am now 4.5 months pregnant.

Hi, thanks for your comment and congratulations!
I know your not supposed to but after using 20 sticks i reset my monitor and continued using it, i had 3 days of lows from cd 31 and then since cd 34 it has been reading high, today i am cd 37. This is indicating my estrogen levels have increased, ive been checking my cervix too and today it has gone high and is soft, im even more confused now! I dont know if im going to ovulate late or my hormones are just totally out of whack!

What a good idea to override the monitor! when I started using it my previous two cycles had been 40+ days so I was resigned to it not working cos of the 20 stick rule. As luck has it, this cycle has been much shorter.
Anyway, just wanted to give you some hope that you may just be having a longer cycle. Hope it hits peak for you soon!

oh thank you! It didnt arrive on time to use from cd 6 anyway, so my plan was always to reset it beginning of next cycle, so i thought i may as well reset it to continue using this cycle, then just reset again next cycle :)

After 5 days of 'high' fertility, i got my 'Peak' today, cd 39 :o
Ive never had a positive opk so i was super excited!! :D
Although i know it doesnt guarantee i will ovulate, i just feel alot more positive now! My only worry is my longest cycle has been 42 days so with such a late ovulation im hoping my luteal phase is normal.
Ive been doing some research into pregnacare conception vits and ive read lots of woman complaining of a very delayed ovulation due to them, i started taking them half way through last cycle so im now wondering if that was the problem, i switched to sanatogen mother to be yesterday.

Yay! Congrats, glad the perseverance paid off. Fingers x for a lucky cycle...

I'm 12dpo and my CB monitor is kindly reminding me that my period is due soon. Trying not to get my hopes up but it's all I can think about! Won't test until the weekend (if AF doesn't put in an appearance first)

Sorry havent been on this forum for a while...
I had a peak on cd 39 & 40 and then i got af 14 days later - 54 day cycle, 2nd cycle using monitor i got peaks on cd 28 & 29, had a 42 day cycle, im now on cd 10 of 3rd cycle using it.
I went for my internal ultrasound in november and the pains i was having wasnt cysts, it was bowel related, both of my ovaries are now normal size and my left ovary cyst free, my right still has cysts.

Hello congratulations onthe news of your pregnancy.

I had brought one of them machines and because my periods were not regular the machine showed me as not ovulating, but in actually fact I was just later then the machine was able to calculate. I don't think I am using it correctly. Any advice?
I also was diagnosed with cysts on my ovaries nd that was it, as my blood test came back ok the doctors the doctors make it sound like you have a cold,

Thanks ladies :-)
Hunnybunny85 - i would either start using the monitor later, instead of cd6 being first testing day start cd10 or something depending on when you ovulate, so start it at cd1 when you are really cd5 etc.. it will only ask for 20 sticks so you need to pick up a peak within those. Other options are using cheap internet opks instead/clearblue digital opks and selling on your monitor, or reset the monitor to cd5 after you have used 20 sticks and continue to use it, this would be very costly though, i did do that when i had a 54 day cycle which was the first cycle using it. Thankfully my cycles were within the testing frame after that, 42 days, 41 days, 40 days, 38 days, 37 days, then bfp cycle. Good Luck!
