hi can anyone suggest why i have alot of pain in my stomach its exactly likie my cyst pain but ive just had a scan and even though i have loads of cysts theyre smallish i was expecting to be told i had massive ones considering the amount of pain and other syptoms of long term pcos ie high cholesterol period problems obesity insulin resistance infertiltry etc any help would be greatly appreciated

hi skippy, i get a lot of stomach pain too. Mine was so severe the other night I hyperventilated and both my hands got a spasm and I couldn't unclench them.

All my GP said was to take paracetamol. A hotwater bottle soothes sometimes.

I also have a lot of pain. I get general pains which feel like period pains aswell as stronger pains which feel like they are in each ovary. I have recently been prescribed Mefenamic Acid and have found these to be useful in taking the edge off. My doctors have been pretty unconcerned about it too even though there's points where I'm doubled over

yeah ive stared taking the menenamic acid tablets and ive gotta say im still in absolute agony and feel like crap they havnt helped with the bleeding either ive had this condition for over 25 years now and im getting well peed off with it id even be willing to be a guinea pig for medical studies into the disease if it would help me and other people as ive just about come to the end of my tether

I hope you find a solution to ease the pain. We shouldn't have to be guinea pigs or beg for help to finally be listened to.
