Hmm, interesting link between Gallstones and PCOS. I have PCOS, but the only "physical" symptoms i exhibit are acne (mild) and hair loss (extreme hair loss). I'm within my weight range and generally considered "slim" for my height of 5ft 6.
However, last December I was diagnosed w Gallstones and immediately had my Gallbladder removed.
My mother also had hers removed when she was my age (29/30). When asked why I had these stones, the Consultant said it is heriditry, many females get them, and because of the typical "high fat western diet". I must admit, i'm a big fan of dairy products, so i guess that didnt help
Is there a connection between PCOS and Gallbladder problems? It could be merely coincidence.
