Who do you approach to ask for a GTT? I would like to get tested perhaps in a way to persuade my gynae that metformin could help me.

Would I have to approach my doctor? What reasons would a doctor usually give you a GTT?

yes but ask her to send u to an endocrine doc then from there tell u want an gtt
