I saw endo 3 times:
1st visit: phys exam, questions, blood tests, 48 hour urine collection
2nd: given diagnosis, metformin
3rd: discharged with advice to lose weight and stop met after losing 5% of bodyweight, and that would need tests if ever ttc.
Noone gave me much info at all about pcos. I wrote to complain to the clinic lead after discharge as wasnt happy. He saw me and answered my questions. I asked to stay on met as even after losing 5% I would still be obese, also have fh of diabetes.
Not a great experience of endo really but got diagnosis and met so shouldnt complain!
On Olanzapine, Lorazepam, Thyroxine, trying to get back into taking Metformin and Orlistat
