Campaign for D Chiro Inositol

Postby tgrlvr » Sun Mar 29, 2009 11:18 pm

Hi

I've just written an email to Holland and Barrett, requesting that they start supplying D Chiro Inositol - citing its possible beneficial effects for women with PCOS - and the ready made customer base it would have here.

Why not do the same and let them know that there's real demand for this supplement from people who can't afford $80 for a 30 day supply from the likes of www.chiralbalance.com and www.dchiroinositol.com

The address I wrote to was healthinformation@hollandandbarrett.com. I'll let you know how I get on.

If others could do the same, and suggest other suppliers that we could write to en-mass, maybe we'll see some results. I keep reading really good things about this!!

Jill

You could try contacting these guys about it as they do lots of research into optimum nutrition to treat medical conditions:

A lot of the work they do influences what the health food stores stock.

Jill

I have sent a an e-mail to Holland and Barrett to and 'it has been forwarded on as a suggestion' so we will see what happens. I have also sent an e-mail to Solgar who specialise in quality vitamins and minerals but not heard anything back from them.

Fab! Thanks Amber! You could try Boots too. They seemed to take the request quite seriously. I think the process for these companies assessing new products, markets etc is quite long and convoluted so not expecting instant results... Fingers crossed though that it pays off.

I have found Boots vitamins to be quite poor quality by using the cheaper less absorbable forms and also never going over the RDA for B vitamins which in my opinion are a waste of money. Solgar in particular do take care in using the most absorbable forms though it does make them expensive.
