before i start i don't mean to offend any one

at college i have being asked in one of my assignment to design a 2 course menu for diabetes and i was just wondering if you would be able to tell me some foods that you eat

I know a lot of people who are diabetic are encouraged to follow a low gi diet...which is basically lots of protein and vegetables, unrefined carbs(ie brown rice/pasta/bread) cut down on sugary foods, and increased fruit as well.
try searching on google for diabetic recipes...u'll probably be able to find some ideas :) good luck! x
