Can you get blood sugar level tests in a pharmacy?
Would that show you if you had insulin resistance?

Im not sure how accurate pharamcy ones would be .. and to get and accurate reading you need a fasting glucose.. then compare that to a level just after eating, then that to drinking lucozade..
thats what i had to do anyway!!

Don't Lloyds do a finger prick blood test for sugar levels? Might be worth asking the pharmacist what they do.

hi,
I don't know about the other ladies on here but my blood sugars always come back normal. I have my insulin measured now, endo says bloods will show as normal because my insulin hits it twice. I have even monitored it with one of the home test kits as well and still its always normal.
