Could I be insulin resistant?

Postby Sofia » Fri Sep 28, 2007 7:12 pm

Recently I have been peeing alot more than I should (which sometimes burns - it's painful!), which I know is a classic symptom for diabetes. I also often feel tired and get dizzy or have head rushes. Should I be asking the consultant about this possibilty when I next see her?

Thanks.

This could be a symptom of diabetes or it could be a urine infection...i would check with the gp so he can give you antibiotics or a gtt/fasting glucose and put your mind at rest.
