Very frequent painful periods.

Postby Lexa » Tue Apr 29, 2014 6:28 pm

Hi all,

I used to always have very infrequent periods..every 6 months or so. I came off the implant 13 months ago to ttc. My periods settled at about 6 week cyles but since christmas theyve been every 3 weeks and horrendously painful and VERY heavy. Any ideas? Im so tired and sore :-(

Thanks,

Have you been investigated for endometriosis as pain is not generally associated with PCOS but is with endo and there are lots of ladies on here that have both. Have you been referred to fertility yet as they may be able to investigate further, especially if you need a laparoscopy to check your tubes etc then they could check for endo at the same time (as this is the only way to diagnose it as scans will not show it).
