5:2 diet

Hi
Has anyone successfully lost weight using the 5:2 diet?
I've heard it's good for insulin resistance and diabetes.

Yes I have, you do have to get your head around it as it is weird but it totally changes how you feel about hunger, I love it. I only really fluctuate by a stone really and if I stick to the 5:2 I can generally lose it in a few months. I do watch what I eat on the other 5 days though as we would still gain weight if we ate the RDA so we do need to eat considerably less just to stay the same.
